pluging rods
hi lads ,is a 7 -25g plug rod to light for bass fishing and what is the best length for a plugging rod?

8-9 Foot,15-40 g about the right size and casting rating for plugs and jellies.

It's not too light no, the lighter the better in my opinion, I prefer 8ft rods myself but some people like 9ft or even 11ft, I like to keep it light especially if Im hopping around rocks also a smaller rod is easier to handle and you get a great scrap even if you hook a small fish.rcalnan wrote:hi lads ,is a 7 -25g plug rod to light for Bass fishing and what is the best length for a plugging rod?
