waterfoot pier 20/03/11

#1 Post by minty »

People:me and the nephew

Duration:5.30--10.00

Tide:rising

Weather:nice

Bait:rag and mack

Rigs:2 hook rigs

Results:coalies

Report:
decided to hit the pier as i had'nt been out for a session in a while, got set up and had one on the first cast :D :D not big but it was still a fish, kept steady enough with the wee fellas till about 10, packed up due to the wee man losing the feeling in his fingers, and headed to the beach to drop off the left over bait to laim78 and his pal. nice to have met you both.. they seemed to be doing well themselves but i'll not steal his thunder and let him make his own post. hopefully get a run up to the beach next weekend for a crack at the flatties.
was just good to get back out again and enjoy the sea instead of having to work on it for a change..
some times catching crabs is a good thing.........or is it...........?
