Ling bars

#1 Post by cathald »

I was going to make a few ling bars for the start of the boating season
as the first few trips with the club are wrecking trips

Here is my question
I have a fair bit of copper pipe and was going to make them from these and paint them
I have never painted anything for the sea before and was wondering what would work
My thinking was to coat them in hammerite and then spray them with a chrome paint
Do you think this would work or would the paint just wear off quite easily
