heres my idea of "the ultimate set up" for a nights fishing west waterford/ east cork (dont have the rod or reel yet )

fox powerpoint bass hooks 4/0
3oz grip lead
20lb yo-zuri flourocarbon
4dz peeler with a few softies
not forgetting the all important flask of coffee

tripod,
meduim surf and weed free,
up and over rig size 1 b940's out far with half a sandeel and small strip of fresh mack cocktail,
2 hook flapper size 2/0 gamakatsu offset hook in close with fresh peeler,
3&5oz grip lead,
a few nice painted rays and a bass or 2.
highly achievable in another few months, hopefully sooner.

Heres what i wold bring for an allnighter
1 abu atlantic zoom 484 rod the original long distance caster and still one of the best.
2 shimano tld 150 loaded with 18 lb maxima and 80lb shockleader.
3 4/5/6oz grips.
4 battery operated tilly lamp headlaight gloves.
5 rag lug peelers mussel razers and a few white rag.
6 rod stand, brolly, shelter,radio,
7 well kitted out for bad weather.
