Greystones 3-3-11

#1 Post by anthony byrne »

People:Meself and Joe

Duration:8pm 11.30 pm

Tide:Rising

Weather:Calm and cold

Bait:Fresh lug, frozen lug, mackerel, mussel, squid

Rigs:Flapper and pulley

Results:Me:2 doggies, 1 pin whiteing and 1 rockling
Joe:Blank

Report:Headed to Greystones with Joe last night got set up and cast out for about 8:15 .It was quiet for the first half hour but then on the small rod in close i got a few nibbles ,didnt think much of it reeled in and and wow the smallest whiteing ever didnt bother taking a pic.30 mins later and on the big rod i got a whopper bite nearly s*** me pants as its been a few months since i had a decent bite.It was lovely to see a doggie. :o In the mean time Joe had a good bite but got snagged while he was bringing it in  >He left it for awhile and his rod was still hopping but couldnt get it free.In the end the line broke.Just after that i got snagged meself walked 100 metres down the beach and it came free with a rockling :D .And then to round it off i had another doggie on the small rod.I think we lost 3 rigs between us :(
