Was supposed to be fishing sunrise with my mate but he got stuck in work late on the friday and was too tired to go. But i wasn't gona waste the fresh lug and razor i had got from http://www.celticbaits.com/ (very impressed) so i decided to bring out my daughter who is 5 and has been asking to come fishing with me for ages and my da who used to bring me fishing when i was a kid but hasnt done it in about 20 years. we headed out to greystones about 2pm and left about 6pm. few bites but didnt catch anything. I still left with a sense of satisfaction as I taught my little one to cast (who im very proud off)

It's a shame you didnt catch anything. But I can still remember the 1st time I went fishing, and 20 odd years later I'm still going. Hopefully your daughter keeps at it and becomes one of the few women who fish!
I can't wait to bring my son with me on his 1st fishing trip. Will be a long wait tho, as he is only 8 months old. But once he is able then I will be bringing him!
