headed of to a mark i havnt fished since last year hopeing to get a few thornies,,got to my spot eventually after missing most of the pot hole,s,,,got set up and two rods out pulley rig on one rod 2 hook flapper on other baited with mack and razor,,tide was just on the fill,ther was a heavy drizly fog comeing from the hills behind me didnt clear for the day,,,not a bite for 4 hours,the local golden lab stayed with me all day keeping me company,,it was getting dark when one rod started to twitch,,pulled in a whiting, baited up and out,straight into a double of whiting on the same rod,nothing hapning with the pulley so got it of and on with a flapper in no time hauld in a doggie,, then a double of whiting and a 3 beard rockling i was kept busy got 2 more doggies but for some reason i thought it was voteting nite so packed up at 730,only to find out it wasnt,but had the gear packed away so headed,,3 doggies 4 whiting and a 3 beard rockling,,,no rays mayby next time,,,,all fish returned

Had whiting, doggies and Thornies that day but no rockling.

Nice mix for this time of the year all the same - well done.

I fished solo through the night there last year and the 2 dogs kept me company all night , at about 3 in the morning , I'm in a different world , not a noise in the world , the lab took into a fit of barking scaring the sh**te out of me ha ha
