Swivel sizes.

is size 4 large and size 10 small. What is the standard size swivel snoods.

Size 4 swivels are the larger of the two and can be used for the top of your rig where it attaches to the shockleader, just make sure that they are good quality as a failure could be dangerous/expensive.

Size 10 is a standard size for snoods for the majority of rigs with the exception of pulley rigs where I use two size 4's.

for snoods its usually size 10 or 35-40 lb breaking strain,i usually use size 1 or 100lb breaking strain for the main body for safety as much as anything else.

'power swivels' are well worth looking at, they have an extremely high breaking strain for there size.
Not the BigPhil from Irish Angler mag, I'm the original, i swear!!!!
