People:SHANE R and me

Duration:1015-1330

Tide:incoming-outgoing

Weather:sunny,claudy-strong east wind

Bait:lug,mack,sandeel,frozen lug

Rigs:2hokks and 3hooks flappers

Results:SHANE R -blankety blank :( me-1 seatrout :D




Report:Head out this mornig-and join with SHANE R at the meeting point and hit the mark.
Lot of weed was arround the shore ant ran big surf thooo...
Set up the rods and cast the first with the rods-after 5 minits we got weed and after just weed and weed... :evil: :evil: :evil:
gave up on that spot and try few hundreds yard owerthere but there was a strong currents and weedweedweed so gave up twice in a first 1 hour :arrow: try at the 3 spot -nothing happend just weed ... and .... we load up to home and with the last casted rod i got a trout 33cm :mrgreen:

Without the srtong eastery wind and mr.weed :evil: it was a really good day

Thats a beautiful well made trout, lovely.
2013 Sea Species:- Bass, Flounder, 5 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Whiting, red gurnard, grey gurnard, Pollack, coley, mackerel, sea trout, cant remember cos I didn't update at the time.....
2012 Sea species:- Pollack, Coley, Mackerel, Cod, Bass, Sea Trout, Haddock, Plaice, Dab, Flounder, Red Gurnard, Grey Gurnard, Pouting, Whiting, Corkwing Wrasse, Ballan Wrasse, Lesser Spotted Dogfish, Brown Trout caught on beach.
2011 Sea species:- codling, L.S. dogfish, coley, whiting, pollack(4lb 3oz), sea trout, shore conger eel (15lb), ballan wrasse, grey gurnard, plaice, dab (and lobster).

Lovely sea trout zud, its a killer when you get that amount of weed on a venue, very well done
