Wildcat 40 in Cork Harbour - Saturday!

#1 Post by JimC »

The buddy Mick had his boat serviced. Sure you'd have to take it for a test run after....

Just watched it, holy crap what a maniac, some bit of boating!

Tell me, she seems to sit very low in the water, is that normal enough?

Yes John bet that was a brown trousers moment.
It seemed as if he slowed boat right down at wrong time and never really got into the wave but I'm no expert. :D :D
Think I'd prefer to be on the high stool looking out at him. :D :D

I'd say he could have been changing underpants after 0:25 so they slowed down for 0:42 :D :D
The builder was onboard on the day. If he wasn't crying for mammy then I would reckon the buddy was grand too!

It is always great to get a feel what your boat is capable of. I remember taking a spin with Paul from Warrior Boats in Southampton. I nearly needed a change of smalls myself :D He was throwing the boat around like I wouldn't dream of doing. It was great to see the capabilities of the boat though, gives you a sense of security when things get snotty.
