Looking for a small multiplier to go with my daiwa kenzaki 6 to 12 lb rod preferably with a power handle, any suggestions?

Re: Reel advie
Daiwa Saltist 20 springs to mind Shane, plenty on ebay. Never had any problems with the series 20-50, rocksolid performers. Reasonable priced too.

Bog standard Penn 525 loaded with 30lb. braid should do the trick. 6:1 retrieve pure speed fishing.

Re: Reel advie
Hi Tony, sorry but where did you get the idea about half the price? The Avet SX 5.3 single speed is $159.99 as compared to the (chinese SX copy) Omoto Vs10 reel for $179?
The Avet is around since 2002 and you can easily grease the drag washer yourself if you wish for the sake of a few cent for reel grease, apart from that the SX certainly has stood the test of time. I always wash my reels in fresh water after a boat trip and never encountered the slightest issue with it. Anyway, time will probably tell the difference anyhow, but the Avet being $20 cheaper as the copy why not go for the real thing in the first place? No offense mate, I'm comparing the hard facts with probably just hopes here.
All the best - Martin.
