Not sure but If I had the option from past experience I would fish the north end of the beach past the car park.

The pier in courtown is a waste of time. You are fishing into 6-8 ft of water. Fish the beaches. The small beach on the north side of Rhoney point can produce Bass and Smooth hound during June - September. The beach further up can produce Codling, Rockling, Whiting, Dabs and plaice as well as Tope. Cahore beach is particularly good for Bass.

Cheers lads, I have fished the pier, but nt the beach before, and while its not out of this world, it fishes better than most marks in Dublin. Is it better just up past the car park?
