went of to a mark i havnt fished for a wile,got ther and the ther was a good surf up and the tide racing out ,got the the first rod set up only to move all the gear another 15 meters the tide going that fast,got the bait out useing 2 hook flappers sandeel on top mack bottom,just got second rod out same bait same rig and when putting it on the rod stand seen other rod nod then a second nod then i struck,hauld in a nice double seatrout on top flounder bottom,over the moon my first trout of the year 43cm flounder small,after a wile i got another trout at35 cm delighted ;] only had the wellies on wen a wave got me and filled them lol.no harm,,,got 3 more flounders one i thought was a plaice with the orange spots,,,tell me wot you think but i think he,s a flounder,,,,,was fishing a week earlier with fisherking brian up in sligo i got nowt that day blank,but brian got a nice trout and a good size flounder,,we wher wet boys that day,didnt stop raining all day,,,anyhow had to cut my session short today local funeral,,,but enjoyed the fishing

Very nice fish there, and all on fishy baits, well done! Still have yet to get a sea trout, I have a friend in Westport, he said he was surf fishing and caught sea trout and turbot on saneel and mack, nice fish to be catching, i'd love to have a go at that. If I was to send a PM could you put me in the general direction of some mayo marks for the next time i'm up that way? Nothing ventured, nothing gained!
