Gussy Caught a good few flounder this pictured was the smallest the rest were bigger but as it got dark my phone camera was not up the job . A local told us a lad had caught 3 large bass in an hour and a half the day before not two feet from where we were standing ,what a difference a day makes

great fishing man. if that's the small one the others must have been pretty decent :P . we never really had great success on the beaches in louth. tried at the caravan park at ganderstown, big strand in clogherhead, dunany and blackrock. but mainly blanked    so fair play to ya getting something decent 8)

Nice fishing. The bass are notorious in Louth for disappearing as quick as they appear!!

nice fishing king, the rest of the flounder must have been slabs. as for the 3 bass sounds like a fishermans tale. hav'nt seen a bass since late november and ive fished most surfs with mostly nothing to show but who knows. sure would be great though, might have to change the plans for tomorrow now.
