Duration:9am-4.30pm
Tide: slack enough most of the day
Weather:bright, calm with a very light easterly wind
Bait:shads, redgills, twisters etc plus rag lug and all frozen baits!
Rigs:1+2 hook flowers and 3 hook scratchers
Results:
Report:very poor fishing, nothing at the mouth of the lough and a few small pollack to around 5lb , 1 poor cod and a grey gurnard all from the laurentic
we can only look forward to things getting better!

Ok, the fishing was slow but but have to admit that I am really looking forward to fishing there in the summer if even now it was throwing up some decent fish.
Lets face it - when was the last time you caught 5lb pollack from the shore?
