Cork Harbour Light Line Comp - Jan 23rd 2011

Well the first of the 2011 Cobh SAC's Light Line competitions is nearly upon us. This competition has been penciled in for Sunday week - the 23rd Jan. For any of you who have been following the reports of these comps you'll know they are good fun allied with good fishing.

Registration will be on Kennedy Pier at 8:45am on Sun 23rd. Boats will depart at 9am sharp. Fishing will be confined to the harbour. Lines down will be at 9:30am with lines up at 2:30pm. We'll be back for a mug of soup and a sambo at the Comm for 3pm and then settle down to watch the match.

There is no retriction on baits and the only stipulation is that lines used should be of 15lb bs or less. Here's a few recent reports to give you an idea of the fishing:
