Magpie wrote:Mighty session frank. ill be out targetting a Bass in favourite mark four months earlier than expected. froze solid in ferrypoint tonight for 3 hours and nothing but a coalie to show for it
Ferrypoint can be variable alright, probably fishes better when the tides are slack.
declan65 wrote:Well done Frank on your first Bass of the year, with astart like that this year has got to be better than last 8)
Thanks Declan, lets hope it is a good year - my bass fishing wasn't great last year, it only really took off just before than ban and after the ban ended I wasn't able to get out much with a foot problem which restricted my fishing, but even when I was back on my feet I found it very slow compared to 2009.
beachbuddy wrote:Thats great news on the Bass front Frank, had a tip off about a few knocking about so decided to give it a lash for myself tues evening, yip had a few which was great no real size though but good fun and they will keep me going for a while

Good to see you getting out for a few Mike.
seanie35 wrote:great start to the year frank i wonder will it be a good year, my overall numbers took a tumble last year, another couple of weeks chasing a big cod then back to Bass i think
Thanks Sean, yes my bass total was very poor compared to 2009, but I am going to have a good crack at it this year.

Thanks Dave,
You should try to get down sometime in the summer or September (plenty of pollock about then and hopefully a few bass). Happy New Year to you too.
