Report:Meant to head down south for some time now and eventually did. Originally the amount of travellers was to be 10 but that was quickly eliminated down to 5 gazebos and headed off eventually at 12. Empty pier so that was a good sign because the youngsters were sure to be screaming their heads off for as long as could be endured by the surrounding victims. As we cast out all fishing was consistent with dad reeling in a nice dab after first cast. All quiet at first from me but then jerking of the rod led to a cod doubler being landed. One of which had a red tag on its side. Reward was on the tag so i had to keep it! Very quiet after that with the odd change in events. Couldnt stay any longer with the chaps dying for some pizza at home. When packing i realised that i was very low in necessitys like weights and clips. Looks like that voucher from the leinster league will come to use very soon and the father will have a few orders in for top of the range rigs to be made
PLEASE!!! does any one have any idea on who tagged the cod or what i should do next?????
will post photos later cant find bloody usb cable

God grant that I may live to fish, For another rainy day.
But when my final cast is made, I then most humbly pray.
When nestled in your landing net, As I lay peacefully asleep.
You'll smile at me and judge, That I'm "good enough to keep"!

no fortune im afraid but there are green ,pink and blue tags also worth 100 euro but most of them fish would be 5 kilo plus some of them have an electronic chip in them so when the fish is recaptured the marine lads take the chip and it has data of where the fish has been and so on .its intresting stuff
