went back to a mark i havnt fished in a wile,got set up round 4pm baited up and out,nothing stirring for a wile then got a double ov flounder and a small whitting,,ther was a pup seal working inbetween my two rods,fearless staring at me,not a bother,,,after a wile i got a small coalfish,, then another flounder, things wher getting quite,got another double of coalfish and whitting.all small fish i think the pup was getting the big one,s,packed up round 7 pm,,still nice to get out,,,

3rd-2011 headed up to a beach in sligo,got set up round 330 tide was nearly on the fill,and a big surf comeing in,,,,jeeesus it was freezing ,got the baits out useing 3 hook flappers bottom snood long,,,hard to detect bites with the big surf, my first haul in and ther was a nice little turbot at 27cm, all went quite after that,,was joined by davay p,he was down the beach a bit he got a flounder round 630,,,,,,we packed up at 7pm hands wher numb ,,i was happy with my turbot,,

Nice turbot polaris, the flounde ri had was only about 20 cm but saved the blank even with the cold was great to be out, was my first session in months.

sounded like it was tough enough going lads. that cold wind would cut you in half but fair play for sticking it out and getting a few fish .
