Inside Cork Harbour

#1 Post by XmartyX »

People:Me

Duration:about 4.30pm to 6pm

Tide:HW at around 3pm

Weather:Freezing! No wind, sea like glass

Bait:Peeler & Razor

Rigs:2 Hook Trace

Results:1 Coalie, 6 small codling

Report:
The roads weren’t too bad here today but the forecast is worse for tomorrow so decided to get out while I could! Fished this mark about two weeks ago and only caught a single flounder. No flounder today but a bit more action all the same! Had one coalie at just over a pound and six small codling (all returned safely). I attached the picture of a double shot of codling (thought I had a good one when I was reeling these in!). I took the picture from the phone so the quality is fairly bad, must bring a camera next time. Was there for less than two hours – hardly felt the cold

Very big fish get to be very big fish by eating very small things very carefully!
