mayo 10-12-2010

#1 Post by saving private brian »

People; meself and a mate

Duration; 04.30pm-09.30pm

Weather; lovely mild nite with the odd drizzle

Tide; hw@ 09.00pm

Rigs; 2 hook flappers

Bait; macks,squid,whitebait,mussel and lug

Results; loads of coalies to the pics sizes aswell a flounders.also pin whiting

Report;

hadnt fished in weeks as me motor had been out of action so cudnt resist it any longer.
texted a mate early on in the day and he was game ball.got to our mark and had rods out for
04.30pm.fishing for the first hour was slow.there was a lovely surf on the beach with the water temperature been much higher than i expected.me mate was the first in with a flounder followed then myself.had no tape but reckon they were up on 37mm.got some smaller flounders too.got into the coalies @ maybe 2hrs from high water.the first was mine with a double shot which r in the pics below.got them to that size aswell as small 1s from there on plenty.had a good few pin whiting to add to the session.we cud not believe it how nice it was for a nite in december.we both packed at 09.30pm and headed home for a few pints.very enjoyable session and good to wet the lines again.

PS.liverpool fans plz dont take anger to me for using a jersey as a towel :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

just took these 2 pics as they were the biggest.
