Inside Cork Harbour 05/12/10

#1 Post by XmartyX »

People:Me

Duration:2.30pm to 7.00pm

Tide:HW at 5.00pm

Weather:Very Cold with little to no wind

Bait:Peeler & Razor

Rigs:2 Hook Trace

Results:1 Flounder

Report:

Was at this spot inside cork harbour a few weeks ago and got 3 Codling, 6 Coalies and a Dogfish. was hoping for more of the same!
Noticed that a few marker buoys that were there last time were gone - place must have been trawled. :!:
Had a few other taps as well but I think these were flounder as well - hooks were probably too big but I was reluctant to change.
Very big fish get to be very big fish by eating very small things very carefully!

Is Cork Harbour an actual man made harbour or a natural harbour created by the land or am I just completely off the mark?...no pun intended.
