People:Me and my twin sons

Duration:About 3 hours

Tide:rising to high

Weather:cool but nice

Bait:rag

Rigs:flappers

Results:the boys first bass




Report:had some rag leftover so promised to let the boys take their new spinning rods out for a bash, Ive been teaching them to cast with crash helmets on lol. one of them noticed a bite so i told him to start reeling in after a while I got its getting hard dady can you help, my first thaught was a loss of interest but on taking over the reeling there was definitly a fish there. There was so much excitment when a bass apeared in the shallow not bad for their first bass a little small but all returned for their next time. a great time fishing from all.

2011 species (16) - Flounder, Coalies, Pollock, sand eel, Wrasse, Sea Trout, dogfish, thornback ray, Whiting, Red Gurnard, Codling, Grey gurnard, pouting, Mackeral, Turbot, Plaice

targets for 2011 - Bass, sea trout and big cod! - Scratch one! Sea Trout Down!

the new bass anglers the bass might become like its USA brother and they will be the fish to fish for .so starting them early is the way to go .

Absolutely brilliant stuff, well done. Looking at the picture of how happy the boys are has put a big smile on my face, that's what fishing is all about. Getting out and enjoying yourself and coming home with memories of a good trip out. A good father and son(s) bonding session ended perfectly with a nice wee bass caught. The first of many for you's I hope :D
Two more fine anglers in the making there........well done again young men and dad :wink:

life tastes better through a pineapple

speices 2011 whiting ,flounder, cod , coalie,,shore rockling , LsD,pollock,mack ,dab turbot sea trout ,bull huss ,3 rockling , wrasse

egg and my face were in alignment
