Co. Louth Bass

#1 Post by daminim »

Hey guys

heading home for the weekend - and im going to chance my arm for a bass close to home - i have one mark in mind where i have heard people fish for bass - but not all that often. Its late in the year - but im sure theres the odd specimen still out there

Im going to fish from first light on Saturday morning. If you fancy coming - no problem!! Does anyone else know of other marks in Louth for a bass on the lure? You would imagine that I would have a notion because Im from Dundalk, but, I rarely fish in Louth. Plus there are very few Lure/Bass Anglers from Louth. If there are any, I have yet to meet them!!

So bass-ically  im looking for info on marks from anyone who has fished Louth with Lures (with success!! ;) ). To give you an idea where im going - its on the way to Carlingford. sandy beach. There is another place near Togher where Ive also heard of a Bass or two to be got, although I tried it once and it was a disaster! Dirty! weedy! water!! :)

Án Lú abu! :P

All PM's welcome.

Conor
