Report:Cobh SAC held the first of their Winter series of light line competitions last Sunday. 8 anglers boarded the John Boy at Kennedy Pier, Cobh at 9am and were on the mark by 9:30am. The weather was glorious with no hint of what was to come later that evening. The competitors were well back by the time the storm broke. Fishing was excellent with whiting to 2lbs the mainstay. I put an excel file of the results here for anyone who may be interested. I still waiting on pics but here is a past pic of the winner, Sandra O' Shea, who had 112 fish. That's putting it up to her partner, Danny Kane (aka ROADRUNNER) who recently won the 44th International Deep Sea Angling Festival
