nimmos pier galway stock up on mack

Anyone looking to stock up there fridge with mack for winter there is thousands being caught in nimmos pier galway ,went down got 200 in under in an hour,its like something out of a horror movie with all the birds and seals there,the herring seed they are feeding on are a good size too around the 4 inch mark.its a site worth seeing

Was there myself today, never seen so much action in one place. There must have been 10,000 seagulls and terns in the area, along with at least 20 seals.


I even caught mackerel in the rapids up by the bridge at spanish arch, my first ever freshwater macks!

Never got the pics in the end, was down on Sunday but didn't bother with the rod and with nobody else there fishing at the time there was nothing to take pictures of! Got one video of seagulls divebombing out in the distance but wasn't the best of quality on an iPhone.
