Wexford Bass and Mackerel.

#1 Post by Ashley Hayden »

A planned trip to fish bass in Wexford with marine scientist Ed Fahy resulted in a good day out and a few fish. http://www.anirishanglersworld.com.

Nice bass Ashley, well done. It's great to see the razor worked well for you and produced some good results. It's a great bait for bass, I very rarely use anything else when targeting them apart from lugworm, they go mad for it. Conditions look and sound like they where perfect, a good surf, clear water with no weed, all combined making it a good day out. What more could you ask for. And your right about the signs that winter is approaching.......it is much cooler at night now, as soon as the light fades the temperature drops bigtime.

Yes Kerry 1 it was nice to get some fresh razor, on the beach we fished it's lugworm all the way, however when you get a stir in the water all sorts will be washed into the gutter, I assume that is why the bass liked the shellfish yesterday.
