Huntress,Killala,16th October

#1 Post by huntress sea anglers »

People:Bob,Charlie,eamus,Cieran.

Duration:9 hrs

Tide:HW1400

Weather:Calm

Bait:Fresh macks,rubber eels(gold).

Rigs:Booms, 12ft trace 4/0hooks.

Results:21 pollock,5 cod.

Report:Another calm day,the bay full of macks, tried various marks off kilcummin, lots of small fish.In an effort to stop being baitrobbed by macks & pout, tried whole mackeral on a 7/0 hook, success, good big pollock taking 60ft up in the water. Some crash dive from these fish! Lovely day.
