wicklow storm beach 11/10/10

#1 Post by Eoin »

wind: NE

tide: dropping

weather: bright

bait: lures and rag

people: me and tom mcK

duration: 1530 to 1900

results: tom 1 bass, me 3 bass and a mullet

hit the mark hoping water would not be too coloured for lure fishing - wishful thinking. in fore sight we picked up 40 rag on the way. most of the fish caught just b4 dusk between 1800 and 1900. all bass were schoolies. mullet took rag on a 3 hook flapper! mullet about 4lb. my first mullet. thought i was in a good bass.
