Report:Plan was to hit a south wex beach for bass but the weed on the beach was the stuff iof nightmares, ten tonnes of weed a cast, so after half an hour we headed to Duncannon to escape the weed. We had a comfortable evenings fishing there, no neeed for headlights and fishing out of the back of the van, and even better no weed. Fishing was steady with fish on most casts including coalies in the mid 30s ansd a fine whiting just over 30 cms, the codling were all small as were the dabs and pouting.Nice mild evening to be out just a pitty about the weed
