Report: we decided to stay local today and dan gave me a shout the night before to see if we were heading out,,,,, silly question . so we picked him up and were set up fishing in quick time. jordan started off fishing a set of feathers below a sliding float set up and me and dan decided on a bit of bottom fishing. there were bites from the start to the finish and we all got in on the action. we all got a good lot of coalies up to about a pound and the wrasse were happily munching the rag we were lobbing at them. after a while wee dan from millisle arrived with a few of his mates and got in on the action too. the biggest fish of the day fell to him and a nice ballan wrasse over 2lb was landed photographed and returned. another guy who was fishing to our left gave us 2 bags off rag as he was leaving and it kept us going until 6pm when all the bait was gone. sadly we had to pack up and hit the road, but went home happy with a good days fishing and the traditional stop off at the chipper on the way home for a victory munch
