Report soon as we got out of the car we were nearly blew back into it with the wind
but we went ahead and set up the gear and began the session. the wind was madness, thumping out a lead was impossible, it went about 35 yards and the wind stopped it dead in its tracts. but we stuck it out and managed to wangle out a few fish, there was a good few doggies got and some coalies, then near the end of the session we managed to get a few mac's (handy fresh bait) all in all i think we did ok for the conditions we were TRYING to fish in, for it was complete madness, even with the heavy wind there was a lot of really big gusts that took toms tripod clean over, so i had to tie it down with a couple of bungee cords. but bad conditions or not we were not just going to give up and head for home, we sat it out till 5.30pm, we all got our fish and as usual the crack and banter was great
