Duration: 3 hours
Tide: coming in then going out
Weather: Dry, Southerly Wind.
Bait: Mackerel, lug, squid
Rigs: 3 hook flappers
Results: Myself: 8 Flounder, 1 Coalie, 1 Seatrout.
chris: 7 flounder, 1 Turbot, 1 Coalie.
Report: got to the mark at about 7.20pm and got set up and casted out for 7.30, strong enough breeze, cool but dry, i threw 2 rods in close while chris threw 1 rod in close, i was first off the mark with a fine flounder off over 40cms, chris then got a triple shot of 2 flounder and a turbot, we were getting the odd flounder and the odd double shot of flounder, Chris later suggested to me to throw one rod out further in hope of a Seatrout, one of my target species not yet caught, first cast out far, looked at my rod and it was moved to the other side of the tripod, and my line gone up the beach, lifted into it and could feel a nice fish, when it came into shallower water it gave a bigger fight, when i landed it i was a happy man
all in all a nice couple of hours of fishing
