September Bassmania

#1 Post by luanaigh »

Hi all..never really report but the fishing has been so good.. :P
All in a new location

21/09 - 6 Bass 58cm,53,68 :P ,54,45,45 (three on the beach..what a fight. Was just testing my new pfluger reel in a local beach i never really fish...what a surprise to get one on the beach second cast...stayed to high water)

22/09 - 9 Bass 3x 5LB (approx) and 6x 3LB approx ( a low water session and then a high water session)

23/09 - 8 Bass average 5 LB approx one 3 LB approx ( a low water session and then a high water session)

24/09 - 3 Bass all approx 4 LB's (low water session)

26 Bass in 4 days...that is my best ever.Only started catching bass on lures in July. Most fish caught on clear Maria Chase 140mm. In murkyish water with S. westerlies mostly rough enough water
Some pics below...don't have a photo of the biggist bass as it took so long to remove the plug (he swallowed 140mm plug totally) that i put him straight back.
Kept 2 for some landowners who are nice enough to let me traips accross they're land, one for meself and one for a friend.
All others went back to grow bigger and fatter
roll on de newmoon and southwesterlies...and clear enough water...please...please..hehe

Great fishing. Think I know those rocks.

There are great marks on E coast but not as reliable as W Waterford!
