ballymoney 11-9-10

People:me and james (brother)

Duration:7-3am

Tide:hw 11.15

Weather:flat calm

Bait:rag,lug,mack,crab

Rigs:2hook slide leger

Results:me,1 huss,1 codlling,1flounder james,1common hound 4.5lb,1 plaice,2 dogs




Report:arived to flat calm sea and no wind and had the rods in the water for 7 the first hour was very slow not even a nibble then i got a small codling then very slow again for another hour then james got a great take pulled the rod off the rest when he picked the rod up he could fell a good tug so struck then the fish took off to the left and after a few mins and 30 yards down the beach the fish was landed a nice hound at 4.5lb but he tought it was bigger things picked up then for a while with both off us pulling in flats together james with a small plaice and me with a flounder then james had 2 dogs one after the other and i had a small huss (my first ever) and that was it for the night i will put pics up when i get them off james

myself, captaink and a mate got 20 doggies between us. . . .didnt think it was worth doing a report. . .shame the bass didnt turn up

it was nice to meet you and have a chat i think it was to calm for the bass maybe next time with a bit of luck

Well done, a nice session with good results for you's. Tell your brother nice one on the hound 8) I have yet to catch one but would like too sometime. I've left it too late for this year but I'll get a couple of sessions in next year for them. Good luck and keep the reports coming.
