egg cup weights

i was reading a forum online one day and was searching up stuff on rotten bottom equipment.i was dreading losing some of me lead weights as i am in short supply of lead at the moment and have no mould either.so knowing i have a half bag of sand and cement in me shed i found a way of making weights with it.mad aint it.so many tips and tricks to be learned.any 1 try making these before.

i seen a lad yesterday on enniscrone pier with lead put into half inch copper.

any more mad ideas??????????????????????????????????????????/

That one came up on the site a few years ago when Lidl were selling quick drying cement. Can't remember who suggested it....excellent idea all the same.

you could put your mix into copper pipes or conduit pipe aswell it would be alot more streamlined.
also get old sparkplugs from your local service mechanic's, some of them can be screwed together tip to tip for extra weight

thats a great idea.do u just pour the lead straight on to the spoon.thats wat it looks like.dont be showing me stuff like that.i will ave no spoons left in the house.lol

the aluminium tea tree candle holders are a great handy mould too the more shallow ones work out at around 3ozs, but the deeper ones can make up to 5oz. just twist a bit of copper wire into them as a link or dip a swivel into them when you pour your lead some of the pound/euro shops sell them in bags of 100 for £2. just do'nt tell the missus that your new found romantic streak of lighting little candles all over the place was motivated by wanting to make cheap leads
