Lifting equipment
Hi, I've recently purchased a new inboard diesel engine for my boat, I'm just wondering can anyone advise on lifting equipment suitable to lift out the old engine and lift in the new one. We need to clear about 9 foot and be able to swing into the centre of the boat. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Lifting equipment
Hey lads, thanks for replies, I'm based in dun laoghaire, we need the clearance as the boat is in a trailer at the moment, so I'd need to get the height and swing into the centre console.

Re: Lifting equipment
Have a look at HSS Lift & Shift they hire gantries out for the day you can get them up to 3M high and use a block and tackle to lift the engine with.
