Greystones Slipway

Hi Lads

Any one fishing out of Greystones having problems with the sailing club blocking the slipway

Yep :x They sometime launch those little lazers and leave the small trailers all over the place...

Not sure what to do about it to be honest. I would normally be out early so it's not too much trouble for me.

was down there last week and we had the same proplem
they just leave them all over the slip :roll: so we just piled
them one on top of the other :P :P

Why not email commodore@gsc.ie and express your concerns and suggest that he post something in the clubhouse about considering other users of this fine local facility? :D :D

That's what bull bars on jeeps are for :lol: :lol:

Yeah they don't care about other users of the slip. If you have a problem just mention it to the site security guard. I said it to him last week and he wasn't long moving them out of the way.

The new slipway in Greystones was closed today (tue 01/09/10) as work was being done on it. Security Guard said it may also be closed tomorrow.
Just incase anyone was planning to use it, ring the site (Lagan/Sisk JV) first.

Don't do what we did and turn up, get gear and boat ready outside on the road, then drive in gate to find out its closed. :oops:
