co wickla 23-8-10 team fintastic

#1 Post by roger de dodger »

People:me, and team fintastic

Duration:7 till 11.30

Tide:full at 11ish

Weather:good southerly till 10 then flat calm

Bait:lots

Rigs:lots

Results:weever  flounder,dab,plaice,whiting and smoothy

Report:headed down to a local mark hoping a few silver fellas might tug our lines but alas no takers  fishing was slow with flounders and weevers and a few micro whiting till just after dark when i managed a smoothy of 3 or 4 lb my first in weeks  taken on a large peeler fished out about 100 yards, managed a dab and plaice double on my last cast of the night ,eric managed 3 crackoffs in a row ,i think this beats his previous best of two in a row  someone has stolen his casting mojo  and its not me  the lads down the end of the beach the baldy frog and the webman did ok but the other two team fintastic members where either cracking off or melting folks eyeballs with their newfangled headlight ,eric came close to taking a fit at one stage
