You could elaborate more on your reports. What size was your best pollack and coalfish, weather conditions, duration and tides etc? It makes them more fun for us to read.

Hi Pugwash,
Think I may have met you on Sunday. I was just starting and spoke briefly to a guy who was just packing up.
If it was you then thanks for taking the trouble to tell me about the possible snags. I know you lost some gear.

To fill in the gaps in his report,

Tide.
'The tide is high...' Blondie.

Weather.
Its Rainin......... The Darts.

Results,

Whole lotta of shakin going on.... The Killer

If you cant catch fish on Valentia this time of the year then you shouldnt be fishing.

Yep, that was me alright.........
Thanks for filling in the blanks........... :D :D :D
Did a bit of sea fishing a few years ago, dunno too much about finesse.
Basically I genarally bait up three hooks and hoof it out with a six ounce weight n see what happens........... :D
Fish or no fish I try to enjoy the day.
Cheerio all.
Without some goal and some effort to reach it............. it will always end in a scoreless draw.
