1st Bass at last

This report is a bit late, anyway decided to head for Cunnigar on Thurs night last, full tide was around the 9pm, so I was set up and ready for 6.45, with a bait rod on Rag and a spinning rod using shads,after 20 mins put down the spinning to rebait , and had a gammy cast into the surf, I was just about to reel in when bang went the line, and landed a 2 lb Bass. My daughter took a pic on my phone, but lo and behold it never saved,also lost all the other saved pics,returned the bass in the hope I might get a bigger fish, but it did'nt happen, returned on Fri night with big expections only to blank
