59cm across the wings. We gave it 8-10lb at the time. but I seem to remember a similar sized fish recently going over 12lb.

Donal was saying that any painted Ray he gets over 59cm he gets the scales because it's usually over/about 10lb.

The relationships between disc width (D) and total length (L), and total length and total weight (W) are given

Would that sound right?
