Donaghadee 13/08/10

#1 Post by Drew »

People: Me

Duration: 7pm - 10pm

Tide: Low n a bit of Push

Weather: Blue Skies + Howling Northerly

Bait: Rag

Rigs: Loop

Results:

5 Coalfish (2x10cm, 2x25cm, 1x40cm), 1 Whiting (Small), 1 Flounder (20cm)

Report:

Not much to report... Big winds kept the macky bashers away so had the pier to myself... Bites were hard to detect but had a couple of nice fish. Caught a door mat (really!), All fish were at range.

Imax 4/6 got its first fishing outing and bite detection was very good on it.

Can't wait to get out again when it's less windy.
Good to be out... Strange to be sober. lol

Not bad drew, considering!! Are the rocks near the pier any good for a cast if the pier gets full of pesky kids etc
