back on the new mark 14/8/10

People:me and eeler

Duration:11pm/4am

Tide:flooding

Weather:calm

Bait:rag/lug

Rigs:flappers

Results:3 bass 5flounder




Report:

good surf up so called ruairi and met up at the same mark where i caught last week,was'nt long there when i had my first fish ,a decent flounder which was hooked deep so knocked him on the head as ruairi has a taste for these fellows . couple more flounders followed before i had my first bass of the session :D ,a nice 4lber which pulled the rod stand over leaving the rod pulling along the sand. ruairi was still waiting to get off the mark as he hopped around on one leg so i was hoping he'd get the next one ,but it was'nt to be as my rod slammed over again and soon after in came a 6lber .had another flounder and then it happened ruairi was into a bass ,unfortunatly though it did'nt give a great fight as there was a lot of weed on the line too but great to see him get a fish as he blanked the previous night. i suppose when your out of the game for six weeks your bound to get a bit rusty :lol: had a couple more flounder after that and then ruairi was into another bass which managed to shake off just before being beached. very rusty :roll: .cant remember if you had a flounder at the start or not .not a bad session

Them Bass Gods are smiling down on you. Fair play to eeler out hoping about on one leg with a crutch and still getting into the fish.
