dunmore flatrocks..wrasse

#1 Post by dileee »

people..me and clunedog

tide..early and rising

duration..2 hours

bait..rag

rigs..rotten bottom(clunedog) sliding float (me)

results..clunedog about 15 wrasse..me 6 wrasse 2 coalies 1 pollack

went out and dug some rag sunday morn gettin ready for the couple of days ahead..we decided to go to dunmore for a spot of wrasse fishin to 1 of my favourite wrasse hotspots..got there bout 11.30 straight into a pollack of about 2 pound..the clunedog was on fire catchin wrasse after wrasse..i stuck with the float and pulled in two very fine wrasse of about 3 pound in quick succession..most of the fish caught were between 1 and 2 pound..i had 2 very small coalies less than 1 pound..could have stayed there all day but the missus would have chopped my balls off..all in all a great couple of hours spent on the rocks...
