west waterford 10/8/10

#1 Post by seanie35 »

People:me

Duration:2 hours

Tide:dropping

Weather:fine light breeze

Bait:lures

Rigs:

Results:1 bass

got out this morning for a session worked my way down the mark using a plastic sandeel no joy but it looked tantalising to me, changed to a plug got a fish on first cast good fish ripped line off the reel but about 2 minutes into the fight the line went slack  , 5 minutes later hooked up again about 10 yards in front of me amazing to see a second big fish swimming behind the hooked fish nice fight on the light gear reckon about 6-7lb returned to get bigger 8)

Nice one Seanie
Water looks nice and clean there, I tried a couple of spots lately and the floating weed did my head in.
