self drive boats on east coast

#1 Post by donal murphy »

im just looking for new places to fish in the warmer weather, normally i would hire boats from bullock harbour and fish around the muglins for pollack. but this year i want something different and was just wondering if there are self drive boats for hire around greystones, cahore and wexford area or anywhere else on the east coast?
cheers

Would this not be utter madness? Surely to god someone offering self drive boats would first have to check that that the Clientel had all the Proper Maritime training from the MCA, etc etc.

There couldn't be that many about with Full training, So Probably wouldn't be worth their while... :?

The only ones I am aware of is Bullock Harbour or Courtown. I don't think Courtown do them this time of the year though, more of a summer attraction!
