Report.A one day comp was held as part of Greencastle regatta and we headed out in fine sunny weather.
unfortunately we could not get as tight to the shore as we would have liked for the wrasse due to a northwest breeze and a bit of swell, although this didn't shop us catching some good ballans.PaddyB had 2 crackers one drop after another up around the 5-6 lb mark.
On the clean ground we had quite a few decent cod and ling and the doggies gave us a bit of craic also
All in all a good days fishing was had and as ever Charlie skipper of the vagabond took us to the fish.

Hi Cathal, it was a good oul day out, there was some big wrasse about alright, Corney Devlin had a cracker down at the stern beside you as well. Its great to see so many codling around too.

It was also nice to take the cup home again too
