Report:headed up to deeper water hoping for better size codling than from the beaches, but no luck ,first 2 casts resulted in snagged to the offshore reef and a one way ticket for the traces.
so we fished in the channel between the rocks and the reef ,which was alive with large edible hairy crabs who on numerous times cut thru our 25lb snoods and even hooked one fair + square in the mouth.
