Report:My first trip out this summer with a rod and mostly because the boys had showed a bit of interest. Dug some huge lug the day before so was looking forward to some nice Wrasse as the conditions and tide were just about perfect. Arrived down to find Kev out on the rocks and he reported about 16 various fish taken in the previous 2 hours since low tide. I got the boys baited up and into the water but before I was sorted out Jonny had a nice wee coalie landed, at a guess just under a pound. Over the next couple of hours the boys both had new species and I had naff all! Paul (Der Baron) and Rebecca had also appeared. I had to get the boys home so we left them to it with some good lug to work with.
Was good to get out.

Still as you said its always nice to get out...

Had my son down the pier today but 4 young lads were fishing ontop of us so i had to leave before i lost my rag
My sons only 8 and he knew they had no manners

Yeah Davy as you say B***bags shouldn't be allowed to fish! Very hard not to lose the rag with them. Must get out for some mulletting with you sometime and christen my new rod.
